Ford decided to give it a try and collaborated with Blue Hive agency to promote their new Active Park Assist feature through a game as part of their campaign. And we have to say we love it!
How it works?
Expandable mobile banners have been created that incorporated a simple, yet catchy game in it. All one had to do is park a car faster than Ford. With few simple moves the car could be parked in few seconds. The difficulty of the game wasn’t too bad, it allowed users to win first stages fairly easily, but once one slipped and lost, the message has been displayed to promote the Active Park Assist feature as a better choice next time for an easy parking.
Game in the banner is a nice way to add this extra interactivity to the banner, which makes it more engaging and prolongs users interaction with a banner time. Ford’s game is a really nice example of that. Game is difficult enough, has a pleasant design and is easy to understand. Interactions are smooth and quality of coding is at a high standard. Overall, this is great experience for everyone, who loves playing games and a good way for the brand to promote their parking feature.
